Claims Processor

We at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina are looking for an experienced Claims Processor to join our team! The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual who takes initiative and works well both independently and as part of a team.To be successful in this role, the Claims Processor must have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and a strong customer service orientation. The ideal candidate will also possess the following qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in a claims processing role• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads• Strong attention to detail and accuracy• Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and proceduresIf you have the commitment and qualifications to be a successful Claims Processor at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, we look forward to hearing from you. Responsibilities: • Process and review claims submitted by clients in accordance with company policies and procedures • Troubleshoot and resolve claims processing issues • Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and procedures • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner • Maintain accurate and up-to-date claims records • Analyze reports to identify trends and patterns in claims processing • Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve claims processing efficiency • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate claims processing • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
