Flexible Transaction Banker

As a Flexible Transaction Banker with First Bank, you will have the opportunity to interact with customers daily, providing exceptional service and completing transactions on their accounts accurately. Duties and Responsibilities • Customer Service: • Process monetary transactions for customers, including cashing instruments, making deposits, withdrawals, and payments. • Create money orders and official checks as needed. • Scan transactions into the system for processing. • Provide timely, courteous, and professional customer service to build strong relationships with customers. • Assist customers with resolving account concerns and issues in a prompt and cheerful manner. • Cash Handling: • Audit and balance transactions daily to ensure accuracy. • Securely store and manage cash drawers at all times. • Maintain cash drawer limits and reconcile discrepancies. • Balance ATM, vault, and other assigned cash sources regularly. • Referrals: • Stay knowledgeable about all bank products and services, presenting them as solutions to customers' needs. • Refer customers to colleagues within the bank who can provide financial solutions. • Participate in retail product campaigns initiated by the bank. • Other: • Collaborate with the bank team to achieve shared goals and assist in other departments as needed. • Familiarize yourself with relevant laws and regulations, adhering to confidentiality, privacy, and funds availability policies. • Complete any necessary training or education to perform job duties effectively. Requirements and Availability To excel in this role, you must be able to process transactions efficiently, handle cash accurately, and communicate effectively with customers. This position typically averages 20 hours per week over the year, with flexibility to accommodate unavailability on certain days. However, regular Saturday availability from 9am to noon is required.
