Our <strong>Operations Team</strong> plays a critical role in delivering best-in-class service, sitting at the intersection of customer support and our back-end platform. Each month, our product serves <strong>hundreds of thousands of unique users</strong>, and we’re looking for detail-oriented problem solvers to help us maintain excellence. As a <strong>Part-Time Operations Specialist</strong>, you will be responsible for reviewing verification requests, ensuring accuracy, conducting research, and resolving issues efficiently. You’ll navigate multiple systems, validate information, and either complete requests or escalate them as needed. If you thrive in a fast-paced, process-driven environment and enjoy solving problems, we’d love to hear from you! <strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong> <ul> <li>Review verification requests, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.</li> <li>Investigate and validate data across multiple platforms.</li> <li>Solve problems creatively to complete verifications within set timeframes.</li> <li>Escalate ambiguous or complex issues to the appropriate supervisor.</li> <li>Manage and prioritize incoming verification inquiries throughout the day.</li> <li>Identify and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.</li> <li>Recognize potential fraudulent or suspicious activity.</li> <li>Transcribe completed verifications from HR respondents or third-party providers accurately and efficiently.</li> </ul> <strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong> <ul> <li><strong>Self-motivated & organized:</strong> Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.</li> <li><strong>Tech-savvy:</strong> Comfortable navigating multiple systems with clear instructions.</li> <li><strong>Detail-oriented:</strong> Strong attention to accuracy and process adherence.</li> <li><strong>Strong internet search capabilities:</strong> Skilled in using online resources for efficient discovery and verification.</li> <li><strong>Problem solver:</strong> Able to troubleshoot issues and adapt workflows as needed.</li> <li><strong>Strong communicator:</strong> Clear and professional written and verbal communication.</li> <li><strong>Security-minded:</strong> Committed to handling sensitive personal data with care.</li> <li><strong>Reliable & disciplined:</strong> Proven ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work consistently.</li> </ul> <strong>Nice to Have:</strong> <ul> <li>Experience working in a <strong>startup or fast-paced environment</strong>.</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>customer support, operations, or verification processes</strong>.</li> </ul> <strong>Compensation & Training:</strong> <ul> <li><strong>Pay:</strong> $17–$19 per hour (based on experience).</li> <li><strong>Training:</strong> 2-3 weeks, Monday–Friday schedule (up to 30 hours per week), before transitioning to a regular shift with weekend availability.</li> </ul> . <h3><strong>Bring Your TRUE Self to Work.</strong></h3> One of our 4 values at Truework is Valuing Diverse Perspectives, and we are on a mission to create a company that is the right fit for every person inside of it.
