Required dates of work include June 2nd through the week of the GLS, August 4 - August 8, 2025.Global Leadership Network (GLN) is a nonprofit organization located in South Barrington, Illinois. Our purpose is to introduce more people to Jesus and fully follow Him. We accomplish this by serving pastors and equipping churches in order to inspire Kingdom-oriented leaders around the world through the Global Leadership Summit and other leadership development resources.The Global Leadership Summit is attended by 60,000+ leaders in 400 sites (primarily churches) throughout the United States. The Summit is translated into 50+ languages and held in over 800 sites in 110 countries reaching over 240,000 international leaders from September to April.Job Status: Summer Internship (June 2nd - August 15th) FT 40 hrs./week, Hourly (Non-Exempt) Position Team: US Field TeamReports to: Field Service Operations DirectorPay rate for this seasonal internship of 40 hours per week position is $16/hr.Hybrid Work Schedule: This position currently has a hybrid schedule which includes working in the office Tuesday through Thursday for two scheduled Core Weeks each month and the option to work from home or in the office on Mondays, Fridays, and Tuesday through Thursdays during non-Core Weeks. In-person days will increase during the weeks leading into the event and during Summit week at the South Barrington campus. Our regular workdays and office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm CT with 30 minutes for lunch. This position does not offer relocation assistance or housing accommodations for the duration of the internship.Benefits include paid time off in accordance with the Illinois PLAWA (Paid Leave for All Workers Act). Time off may be subject to black-out dates during GLS peak season and subject to manager approval.Primary Responsibilities:Provide weekly update of registrations for specific groupsEvaluate Host Site Websites for Summit PromotionMaintain database by entering updated customer and account information (some research required)Process registration transfers and registration entries as requestedResearch and Log Host Site International involvementStaff the Event Manager / Promotional Strategist Hotline during Summit week.Complete research, special projects and data validation as assignedComplete other duties as assigned.Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with manager, team meetings, all-staff meetings, and cross-functional meetings, as needed.QualificationsSkills and Qualifications:Organizational skillsAbility to work independentlyProblem solvingAbility to multi-task and prioritize workAttention to detail Computer savvyThoroughnessEducation, Experience, and Other Requirements:Proficient in Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCompleted high school and some college (preferred)A vital relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and an active participant of a local church that holds to a historic, orthodox understanding of biblical ChristianityOrganizational Values:Others - We set aside our personal preferences and put others before ourselves.
