Facilities Protection Supervisor - Level 3

Description: As a Security Forces Supervisor you will provide the day-to-day supervision of contracted Security Officers for a 24-hour a day operation. Our team provides facilities protection to LM campus/LM-offsite locations against potential theft, unauthorized entry, espionage, sabotage, and subversion from both internal and external threats. What You Will Be Doing You will get the opportunity to liaison with local governmental agencies such as law enforcement, fire, and others regarding matters of operational and environmental safety, protection of resources and other issues of possible Lockheed Martin impact. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing, implementing and reviewing policies, procedures, and methods for identifying and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, loss or vandalism
  • Conducting initial shift briefing and weapons issuance, the reviewing of schedules and monitoring of overtime hours worked
  • Resolving day to day issues on site and enforce policies and procedures. Overseeing of parking enforcement and the response to onsite emergencies and alarms.
  • Accounting for officer equipment being issued and turned in daily and training and certification of security officers.

The applicants shift assignment will be based on business needs. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation for a Top Secret Clearance and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain this clearance. Must be able to obtain a certification by the Texas Department of Public Safety-Private Security Bureau as a Commissioned Security Officer for Level III. This certification must be maintained while employed. Successful completion of pre-employment (post-offer) Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI-2) / Psychological Test demonstrating suitability for employment in this role. Applicant must be able to perform and pass an initial physical fitness test upon hire and pass an annual fitness test thereafter. A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience. Basic Qualifications: Minimum 5 years’ in a security field with supervisory experience (law enforcement/military preferred). Valid Drivers License Texas Level 3 Desired Skills: Antiterrorism/Force Protection experience (ATO). Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment. Managerial experience with hourly guard force. Excellent communication skills; team player. Knowledgeable user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access. Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
