CDL Driver - Class B
About the position The CDL Driver - Class B is responsible for the safe operation of a collection truck, ensuring prompt and courteous waste removal services for customers. This role involves adhering to safety standards, completing vehicle inspections, and maintaining compliance with company and regulatory requirements while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure proper working order.

- Safely operate the heavy truck along the designated route and to the disposal site.

- Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
,
- Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers according to departmental procedures.
,
- Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and clean up spills as necessary.
,
- Maintain the vehicle's operational readiness and cleanliness after each trip.
,
- Complete required route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
,
- Adhere to productivity standards to ensure efficient customer service.
,
- Follow all safety policies and procedures during operations.
,
- Participate in the Company’s ReSOP program.
Requirements
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License with air brakes endorsement.

- Good customer service skills to meet and exceed customer expectations.

- Good time management skills to complete responsibilities efficiently and safely.

- Ability to adhere to company policies and promote safety standards.
