WORK TYPE: Onsite LOCATION DETAILS: 14460 Varsity Brands Way, Farmers Branch, TX 75244 WORK HOURS: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm PAY RATE: USD $17.00 - $21.50 per hour Pay rate will vary based on criteria such as education, experience and qualifications of the applicant, location, internal equity, and alignment with the market. ​ HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT The Front Desk Community Coordinator is responsible for creating meaningful experiences for employees and visitors at the headquarters facility. This person will ensure seamless interactions and provide onsite support that connect employees, guests, offices, and communities. The role involves acting as a liaison for corporate programs to enhance community health and engagement. WHAT YOU WILL DO Community Coordination and Front Desk Reception

  • Serve as the principal “Face of Varsity Brands” and front desk reception for employees and visitors at headquarters, ensuring positive experiences and engagement.
  • Ensure an exemplary customer service experience as the front desk greeter and liaison for employees, new hires, and visitors. Give tours of the facility as needed.
  • Support healthy internal and external neighborhood relations, collaboration, and stewardship.
  • Create and publish a quarterly schedule for internal HQ events in partnership with the communications team.
  • Serve as a support to the People Service Center (People Operations) team.

Office Management

  • Maintain awareness and take action to ensure the corporate facility is “company ready” and reflects pride in the company and care for the headquarters environment.
  • Promote a culture of employee pride in the facility's appearance and functionality and serves as the face of the company, offering friendly service to those entering the building.
  • Manage the daily flow of mail and packages delivered to the corporate headquarters and the visitor flow from arrival to departure ensuring all guests have a positive experience during their visit.
  • Foster security by following procedures such as monitoring guest logbook and issuing visitor badges. Oversees the badge process for employees.
  • Support leadership with scheduling meetings, conference rooms and getting lunches.
  • Collaborate with Payroll, IT and Facilities to ensure proactive support and process ownership including meeting room hardware and common areas (e.g., breakrooms, restrooms, gym, and locker rooms).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity within a complex, dynamic and rapidly changing environment
  • Incorporate customer-centric values and SPIRIT principles into the company's mission, vision, and core values
  • Having a strong customer focus by providing excellent customer service, responding promptly to needs, and display a friendly attitude
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters and information with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pivot focus of responsibilities in a smooth and efficient manner

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required, Associate (or Bachelor) degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of related experience in a corporate office environment preferred
  • Proven success to effectively communicate (listening, writing and verbal) across all levels of an organization
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This job operates in a professional office environment. The role is a mix of being sedentary and walking around the facility with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending as necessary.
