Senior Business Intelligence Analyst Type: Long-term Contract Work Setting: Remote Location: Irving, TX We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with expertise in Power BI, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms to drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a curiosity mindset, capable of working independently to deliver actionable insights. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop clear and insightful Power BI visualizations to support business decisions.
- Utilize SQL, Databricks, and Snowflake to extract, transform, and analyze data.
- Build pricing and margin optimization models to drive profitability.
- Apply statistical tests, probability theory, and data analysis techniques to identify trends.
- Automate workflows using Python or R for efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine business intelligence needs.
Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in BI, analytics, or data science.
- Expertise in Power BI (Tableau experience is a plus).
- Strong SQL programming skills;experience with Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently and solve business problems proactively.
- Power BI certification is preferred.
