We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Technical Learning Consultant to join Zscaler Cyber Academy. This is a hybrid work environment, going into our San Jose, CA office 3 days a week. Reporting to the Head of Technical Training Design and Development, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to identify training needs and gaps
• Designing engaging, modular curricula supported by hands-on labs tailored to diverse audiences
• Leading the development and refinement of interactive, hybrid learning experiences and 
• lab environments
• Staying informed about Zscaler products and cybersecurity advancements to maintain cutting-edge content quality
• Incorporating feedback and analytics to drive continuous improvement in learner engagement and outcomes

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• 7+ years of technical experience in cybersecurity or networking SaaS roles (e.g., network engineer, support engineer)
• 5+ years developing and designing technical learning materials or programs
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical material into accessible formats for diverse audiences
• Strong knowledge of hands-on labs, LMS platforms, and tools for interactive learning delivery
• Proven expertise in working cross-functionally to achieve shared learning goals

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, or Node.js)
• Experience creating modular and API-based learning solutions
• Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
