Risk Reporting Analyst, Bulgaria

The Risk Reporting Analyst will be dealing with all available customer and company data to drive various initiatives. The Analyst should be a role model in their knowledge of data mining and analysis. This is the “go to” person for data-driven and any reporting information. The Analyst must be able to take ownership of ad hoc tasks and assignments as well as be able to own their decisions.

Job Responsibilities

Carries out periodical and ad-hoc reporting and fulfills data quests;

Accesses research and manipulates the data to drive improvements in various risk tools, KPI reports, and processes;

Monitor KRIs and KPIs and provide detailed analysis in case of data inconsistencies;

Write and execute SQL queries to extract and process the necessary data for report delivery;

Perform analysis to create data mapping and data flow diagrams that support key business processes and information capabilities;

Consult Risk teams on analytical approaches for presenting data and suggest improvements to reported data;

Evaluates potential changes to existing configurations to enhance the effectiveness or accuracy of any risk processes;

Acts as a point of contact for the data needs of the Risk Management team;

Builds and maintains data metrics in a visual and easy-to-understand format to keep the Risk Management team up to date with various KPIs and ad hoc metrics;

Suggests and drives initiatives to automate manual processes;

Maintains effective communication networks with key stakeholders, business partners, and peers;

Performs other duties as required, as well as leading ad-hoc projects.

Job Requirements

University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline;

1-3 years of experience in a similar position;

Experience in the fintech industry - digital wallets, internetbanking, payment processing, card issuing, card acquiring, etc.;

High proficiency in English ;

Advanced Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau (and similar) skills;

Ability to manage and analyze big data sets and to simplifyinformation to communicate key findings and takeaways;

Good knowledge and understanding of different risk tools such as risk engines, paygates would be an advantage;

Strong written and verbal communication skills;

Decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills;

Ability to work independently and in a team.
