Remote Adjunct Faculty in Exercise Science | WFH

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Exercise Science Adjunct Faculty member to join our esteemed educational institution. Key Responsibilities • Instruct 1-3 online courses every 8 weeks, creating an engaging educational atmosphere. • Facilitate student success and professional development through effective educational experiences. • Develop and implement interactive activities to maintain student engagement throughout their learning journey. • Create and curate relevant instructional content, including video materials, in line with the latest industry trends and best practices. • Utilize innovative teaching strategies to enhance student comprehension and retention. • Encourage meaningful interactions and discussions among students using platforms such as YellowDig. • Conduct regular outreach to students, monitoring engagement and progress via Fidelis. • Attend faculty meetings and actively participate in professional development initiatives. • Collaborate with fellow educators and contribute expertise to departmental projects. • Achieve all annual performance metrics and teaching expectations. Required Skills • Current certification from NASM, ACSM, ISSA, NSCA, or another NCCA-accredited organization. • Excellent communication and teaching abilities. • Proficiency in utilizing online learning tools effectively. • Creative approach to instructional and learning strategies. Qualifications • A Master's Degree in Exercise Science or a closely related discipline is preferred; however, a Bachelor's Degree paired with substantial industry experience will also be considered. • A minimum of 5 years of experience in personal training or a related field. • Willingness to undergo comprehensive online training prior to commencing teaching duties.
