We are seeking a highly skilled Senior and SME DevOps Engineer to join our talented team and contribute to the success of our projects. Job Description: As a Senior and SME DevOps/Kubernetes Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing continuous delivery systems and methodologies on Kubernetes (K8s), including AKS and Rancher. You will play a key role in automating, optimizing, and managing our CI/CD processes to enhance our operational efficiency and ensure the high quality of our software solutions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes, AKS, Rancher, and other relevant technologies. 2. Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline DevOps processes. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions. 4. Monitor and optimize the performance and scalability of systems and applications. 5. Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security. 6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. 7. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and Kubernetes ecosystems. 8. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the DevOps domain. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. - 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related technical roles. - Proficient with Kubernetes, AKS, Rancher, and CI/CD tools. - Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration. - Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef, or an equivalent. - Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services. - Strong experience with SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus). - A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl, and/or Ruby). Additional Skills (Preferred): - Experience in federal government Cloud or IT systems, familiar with CIS NIST standards. - Well-versed in healthcare IT systems, with a focus on compliance with HIPAA regulations. - Background in healthcare systems technology.
