Job Overview We are in search of a talented and committed Reading Comprehension & Writing Tutor to join our esteemed educational team. This remote position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional instruction in reading comprehension and writing expression, with a focus on nurturing students' literary skills and confidence. Key Responsibilities Conduct engaging one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions for a maximum of three students. Create tailored instructional plans that cater to individual student needs and learning styles. Foster an encouraging and dynamic learning environment that promotes student engagement and success. Collaborate with students to enhance their abilities in critical reading, writing, and literary interpretation. Required Skills Strong critical reading and writing capabilities, with a comprehensive understanding of grammar, syntax, and literary analysis. Expertise in teaching SAT-level content, evidenced by achieving a score of 700 or above in the Reading/Writing section of a practice SAT test conducted at our center. A background in English or American literature, alongside a talent for guiding students through complex literary concepts. A genuine passion for education and a commitment to working with young learners; prior tutoring or teaching experience is advantageous. Qualifications A bachelor's degree or higher in English, Education, or a relevant field is essential. Strong enthusiasm for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals.
