We exclusively work with families who have a medical necessity for surrogacy and hold profound respect and gratitude for the remarkable women who make parenthood possible. Founded by a Former Physician & Surrogacy Advocate BabyBumps was founded by a former physician and mother-to-be via surrogacy, ensuring that surrogates receive unparalleled care, empathy, and support throughout their journey. Our program is designed to prioritize your health, well-being, and overall experience, recognizing the deeply personal and transformative role of surrogacy. Responsibilities ? Prenatal Care – Follow all recommended medical guidance to ensure a healthy pregnancy for both you and the intended parents. Maintaining your own health, nutrition, and well-being is essential. ? Medical Appointments – Attend routine checkups, ultrasounds, and required tests while keeping the intended parents informed. Comprehensive medical insurance will be provided if existing coverage does not include surrogacy. ? Legal & Ethical Compliance – Adhere to all legal agreements and ethical guidelines in the surrogacy process. Independent legal representation will be provided to ensure clarity and protection at every milestone. Important Note: As a gestational carrier, you will carry and deliver the baby, but you will not be biologically related to the child. The embryo will be created using the intended parents’ genetic material or donor material. BabyBumps only partners with families who have already created embryos. Ideal Candidate Qualifications ? Professional or Advanced Degrees Preferred – While not required, MD, PhD, PharmD, PA, DDS, RD degrees are prioritized. ? Stay-at-Home Mothers Encouraged to Apply – We appreciate and welcome stay-at-home moms who meet the qualifications. ? Healthcare & Mental Health Professionals Welcome – Dietitians, nurses, LPNs, counselors, therapists, LCSWs, and other healthcare professionals are highly encouraged to apply. ? Strong Physical & Mental Health – Must pass a comprehensive medical and psychological screening to ensure suitability for surrogacy. ? Prior Pregnancy Experience – Must have carried and delivered at least one child with no major complications. ?
