About the position The Senior Field Account Manager at UnitedHealthcare serves as a Client Relationship Manager, focusing on proactive engagement with customers to enhance their relationship with the company. This role involves educating clients on their benefit plans, wellness tools, and administrative changes, while also conducting open enrollment meetings and wellness fairs. The position emphasizes training customers on available resources and facilitating communication between clients and internal service teams. Responsibilities • Coordinate, staff, and conduct open enrollment meetings, wellness fairs, and lunch and learns. , • Act as a strategic partner and consultative resource to the customer, responsible for the customer's total educational experience. , • Deploy and train customers on UnitedHealthcare's core wellness tools and resources. , • Train and educate members on UnitedHealthcare tools, resources, and various programs to drive member engagement and activation. , • Meet with customers regularly to review engagement data and product education, including ideas to enhance the group and member experience. , • Communicate administrative changes to the customer. , • Report and advise customers on the level of member engagement with wellness programs and other plan features. , • Address and partner with the central sales support and matrixed teams to resolve any escalated issues. , • Train and educate customers on UHC systems and eTools as appropriate. , • Travel locally as required for your book of business (approximately 50%). Requirements • Insurance license or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire. , • 5+ years of experience in managing customer relationships in the insurance/medical benefits industry. , • Valid Driver's License. , • Excellent oral and written communication skills. , • Superior presentation skills in both small and large group settings. , • Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence internal business partners. , • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. , • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other virtual productivity tools. , • Willing and able to travel 50% +/- depending on business need. , • Reside within commutable distance to St. Louis, Missouri. Nice-to-haves • 2+ years of people leadership experience with direct reports. , • Human Resources or Medical Benefits experience. , • Proven ability to work with external customers such as employers, consumers, consultants, and brokers.
