Treliant is seeking experienced Consumer Bank Compliance Officers interested in project-based opportunities for major banks and financialinstitutions. Successful candidates willprovide second line advice and oversight to banks providing deposit and lendingproducts to US consumers. Areas of coverage include providing advice regarding newproduct and service development; monitoring compliance with consumer bankingregulations including fair lending regulations; and issue and complaint management. Applicants should have held a consumer complianceposition in a regulated financial institution and have experience supporting consumerfinancial product compliance and an understanding of regulations applicable todeposit, payment and lending transactions. Qualifications: • Bachelor degree or commensurate work experience is required • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience within consumer banking- preferably at an entity subject to CFPB supervision • Extensive knowledge of banking regulatory compliance management system elements, with product advisory and/or monitoring experience desirable • Extensive knowledge of federal and state deposit, lending and payments compliance laws and regulations. • Must have strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written. • Strong research, project management, organizational, analytical and problem resolution skills. • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager designation or Bank Examiner experience is a plus.
