Data Analyst Remote / Telecommute Jobs

What we are looking for Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst to support our federal customer Location : Remote. The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA. The successful candidate will be accountable to • Data analysis and reporting using the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Power Point, and Power BI) and other business and business intelligence tools • Working with clients to elicit, refine, and document requirements • Participating in client data calls, working with clients to determine reporting requirements, and writing technical documentation • Verifying data quality to ensure accurate analysis and reporting • Gathering requirements for reporting purposes • Documentation of processes and methodologies • Planning, prioritizing and executing in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment • Make recommendations for data products and gathering techniques that align with customer's business and analysis goals • Accomplishes department objectives by communicating job expectations and priorities, providing professional growth opportunities, and evaluating results What you bring Experience, Education & Training • 8+ years of proven experience in data analysis • 5+ years of experience managing data projects and teams • 8+ years of experience with Power BI is required • 3+ years of experience creating data flows and semantic models • Strong background working with Microsoft Excel • Experience in SQL query development and general database principles • Strong written and verbal communication on complex subject matters • Able to rapidly respond to changing requirements and priorities • Able to prioritize and multi-task across numerous work streams • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through • Ability to effectively manage ambiguity, anticipate problems, and take decisive action • Preferred experience with Department of Defense (Army Corps of Engineers) Clearance Requirements • Active Secret Clearance Required • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation What we offer About Tripoint Solutions We are technology innovators, partnered with state-of-the-art providers, such as AWS, ServiceNow, and UiPath, to drive digital transformation in the federal space.
