As a Regional Account Manager for Optum Specialty, you will have the flexibility to work remotely if you are located near a major metropolitan area, such as Denver, CO. This role involves significant travel to hospitals and various locations, with an expectation of 50% travel and occasional evening or weekend event participation. You will be responsible for developing a territory sales plan, researching and identifying sales targets, making cold calls, and utilizing a consultative sales process to probe for customer information and barriers. Building relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and closing sales will be key components of your role, as well as serving the needs of medical practice accounts and managing territory travel and expenses. Responsibilities • Develop territory sales plan , • Research and identify sales targets , • Make cold calls , • Use consultative sales process, probe for customer information and barriers , • Develop creative solutions to gain profitable business , • Create relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers , • Close sales , • Serve needs of medical practice accounts and solve issues , • Manage territory T&E and customer related expenses Requirements • 2+ years of experience in medical device, food sales, specialty pharmacy sales and/or business-to-business sales , • Proficient use of Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point , • Proven track record of sales success , • Live in Denver CO area - within close proximity to an airport Nice-to-haves • Multiple Sclerosis/Parkinson's Disease, Neurology, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Oncology or Gastroenterology therapy sales experience , • Experience selling to Rheumatology, Dermatology and/or Gastroenterology , • Experience using Salesforce and/or CRM , • Experience using Tableau and/or Territory Data management experience Benefits • 401(k) matching , • Comprehensive benefits package , • Incentive and recognition programs , • Equity stock purchase , • 401k contribution Apply Job!
