Commercial Surety Bond Claims Adjuster | Remote

Our client continues to experience tremendous growth within their Commercial Surety Bond Division. This expansion has necessitated the addition of a skilled Commercial Surety Bond Claims Adjuster to effectively manage a range of specialized bond types to include: License and Permit, Notary, Fiduciary, Court, Public Official, Non-Construction Performance Bonds, Fidelity, and Miscellaneous. This position demands a high level of precision and efficiency in claim resolution, ensuring thoroughness from initiation to closure. This is a fully remote position. Key Responsibilities: • Investigate, evaluate, and adjust complex commercial surety bond claims to determine liability and settlement. • Manage and resolve claims involving contractor bonds, motor vehicle claims, and notary bonds, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements. • Work closely with policyholders, claimants, and agents to provide timely and accurate claim resolutions. • Maintain thorough documentation of claims handling process using the Sims claims system. • Stay informed of changes in legislation and industry practices that may impact claim handling procedures. • Provide exceptional customer service and support to all stakeholders involved in the claims process. Requirements: • 4 to 7+ years of Commercial Surety Bond claims handling experience, with a focus on complex claim scenarios. • Detailed knowledge of various types of surety bond claims such as license and permit, court bonds, motor vehicle, and notary. • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to handle multiple cases efficiently. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with claimants and stakeholders. • The ability to work independently in a fully remote setting. • Additional licenses and jurisdictional knowledge preferred, indicating a broad understanding of the field.
