Senior Business Analyst (Remote) Cognizant’s Digital Engineering Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Business Analyst with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Above all, we judge success by the success of our team and the happiness of our customers. Location: Remote Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until January 31st, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $81,000 - $138,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. • *Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States** Responsibilities • Conduct and document current state assessments for web and mobile platforms. • Create detailed current state journey maps to illustrate customer interactions and experiences. • Analyze current customer data to derive insights and advise experience improvements. • Understand business processes, identify needs, and uncover opportunities for improvement. • Review business performance and find opportunities across digital channels, including websites and apps. • Collect and document requirements from collaborators to ensure the final product meets user needs. • Conduct market research and analyze data to inform development decisions. • Create detailed user stories and functional specifications for developers and testers. • Ensure alignment between business goals and technical capabilities. Qualifications: • Strong experience with ecommerce platforms and prior implementation experience. • Excellent understanding of business processes and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement. • Proficient in analyzing business performance and digital channel opportunities. • Skilled in gathering and documenting requirements from stakeholders. • Experience in conducting market research and data analysis. • Ability to create detailed user stories and functional specifications. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
