Job Posting: Virtual Educational Interpreter (Part-Time) Location: Minneapolis, MN (Remote Position) Company: Soliant Education Contract: 2024-2025 School Year Position Overview: Soliant Education is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Virtual Educational Interpreter to work 1:1 with a 10th-grade student. This part-time position requires approximately 22 hours per week, with a flexible schedule across the school week. Schedule: • Mondays: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, 11:30 AM - 2:25 PM • Tuesdays: 8:45 AM - 2:25 PM (lunch will be 10:30 AM or 10:50 AM) • Wednesdays: 7:25 AM - 8:56 AM • Thursdays: Same as Tuesdays • Fridays: 7:25 AM - 8:56 AM, 10:30 AM - 2:25 PM (lunch will be 10:30 AM or 10:50 AM) Pay Range: $36 - $42 per hour Responsibilities: • Provide real-time virtual interpretation services for a 10th-grade student. • Interpret classroom lessons, discussions, and activities from the instructor to the student and vice versa. • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment. • Collaborate with the student’s teachers and school staff to ensure effective communication. • Maintain a professional and confidential relationship with the student and school personnel. Requirements: • Must hold a 4.0 Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) or National Interpreter Certification (NIC/RIC). • Experience with K-12 students and educational settings preferred. • Ability to interpret accurately and clearly in a virtual environment. • Strong communication skills and reliability. • Familiarity with virtual learning platforms is a plus.
