Sales Support & Purchasing Specialist - Commercial Furniture

American Commercial Furniture is looking for a sales support & purchasing specialist to support our exponential growth. We are looking for someone who: • Enjoys supporting others in day-to-day job duties • Possesses a high attention to detail • Can triage & prioritize multiple tasks at once • Adheres to quick turnaround deadlines • Communicates thoroughly • Exhibits strong math skills This is a fully remote position, but the candidate must live within Indiana. Position Summary: As a sales support & purchasing specialist, you are the "right hand" of our sales staff and play a vital role in the success of our team. Each day is a scramble - of quote building, product research, entering orders, purchasing orders with vendors, and ensuring orders ship on time - you're the one that keeps it all organized. Responsibilities of a Sales Support & Purchasing Specialist: • Quote Building: Obtaining pricing, installation quotes, & freight quotes • Product & vendor research • Pitch deck preparation • Entering orders into our system • Updating orders with tracking information • Purchasing: Placing orders with vendors • Prospect research • About Our Company: American Commercial Furniture is a fast growing, national retailer of commercial furniture - office, restaurant, educational, and much more. Sales Support Specialist Overview: As a sales support specialist, you are the "right hand" of our sales staff and play a vital role in the success of our team. Attention to detail: Quote & order accuracy are paramount. Quotes range from $1,000-$100,000+ and are custom built to each client's specifications. While we have multiple stages of quote checking built into our process, you are the first line of defense and will need to be meticulous about pricing & specification details. Mathematical: Basic algebra is required to calculate percentages and margins. However, you must be comfortable and strong with numbers as this role will require significant calculation. Time Management: You will be given quite a few responsibilities, some with higher priority than others. Being able to gauge which items are most important and effectively complete the tasks at hand will yield success in this role. Assertive & Persistent: You're the one who gets it done. Whether it is a special request from a vendor, or obtaining estimates from contractors who are not getting back to you, you will need to make sure we get what we need to take care of our customer. Proficient in Tech/Computers: Everything we do is computer & web based. Success in this role is directly correlated to your ability to navigate our CRM, generate quotes in a timely manner, and conduct research. Professional: In writing, phone presence, and the way you interact with clients & other employees in every aspect. Bonus: Creativity - if you are creativity, you will be able to help with aspects of pitch deck design, fabric swatch selection, etc.

Compensation

Salary: $52,000-$56,000/year Benefits: 401K w/ Company Match, Health/Dental/Vision Insurance: 50% of Employee's Premium, Can Add Dependents at Standard Rates, PTO Program Apply Job!
