AI Specialist - Pharmaceutical & Healthcare AI Applications

We are looking for a talented and passionate AI Specialist with expertise in machine learning, data science, and AI applications for pharmaceutical and healthcare domains. The ideal candidate will work alongside our multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals, clinical researchers, and engineers, to develop and deploy AI models that support drug development, clinical decision-making, patient care, and overall healthcare innovation. Roles & Responsibilities • AI Model Development: Design, build, and deploy machine learning models tailored to pharmaceutical and healthcare applications, including predictive analytics for disease diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and patient outcomes. • Data Preprocessing & Feature Engineering: Process large healthcare datasets (clinical trials, EHRs, patient monitoring systems) and extract meaningful features to train accurate and reliable models. • Collaboration with Healthcare Experts: Work closely with medical professionals, clinical researchers, and pharmaceutical experts to ensure that AI applications align with industry standards and medical guidelines. • Model Validation & Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of AI models using real-world healthcare data, ensuring that they meet accuracy, reliability, and clinical requirements. • Clinical Decision Support: Develop AI-driven decision support systems that assist healthcare professionals in diagnosing diseases, identifying treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. • Ethics & Compliance: Ensure that all AI models comply with healthcare regulations, including data privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and industry standards (e.g., FDA guidelines). • Continuous Learning & Improvement: Stay updated with the latest AI trends and advancements in healthcare, continuously improving models and techniques based on emerging technologies and research. • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and ensure smooth integration of AI models within the healthcare systems. • Security & Privacy: Implement security protocols to safeguard patient data and ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations. • Skills: • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java. • Solid understanding of data processing techniques, feature engineering, and statistical modeling. • Familiarity with AI-based applications in drug discovery, medical imaging, clinical decision support, or patient care. • Ability to explain complex AI models to non-technical stakeholders. • Knowledge of deep learning, reinforcement learning, or natural language processing (NLP) is a plus. • Soft Skills: • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with AI in precision medicine, genomics, or drug development. • Knowledge of healthcare data privacy laws and ethical guidelines. • Experience in deploying AI models to production in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). • Familiarity with AI-powered healthcare platforms or tools.
