Online ELA Teacher ( 6th-8th )

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and enhancing student engagement. This role involves developing and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to create an enriching educational experience. Experience in higher education teaching, instructional design, and familiarity with Montessori methods will be highly valued. Responsibilities • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. • Assess and evaluate student performance through standardized testing and classroom assessments. • Provide individualized support to students, including tutoring and assistance in math and other subjects. • Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices. • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development. • Utilize library services and resources to enrich the curriculum and support student learning. • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred. • Experience in higher education teaching or private school settings is a plus. • Strong skills in instructional design, classroom management, and proofreading. • Familiarity with Montessori teaching principles is advantageous. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage students effectively. • A passion for education and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
