About the Role: The Global Advertising and Brand Management (GABM) organization is on a mission to drive commerce and create demand through innovative products, partnerships, and marketing experiences. As a Senior Developer, you’ll be part of OnBrand, American Express’ in-house creative agency, focused on crafting industry-defining creative excellence across digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: Execute development for multiple parallel project engagements. Write high-quality code for digital platforms using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Produce, maintain, and modify digital experiences and user interfaces. Collaborate with UX/UI, copy, and design teams to create seamless customer experiences. Ensure projects incorporate accessibility, responsiveness, performance, and ease-of-use best practices. Develop and guide overall development approaches, providing coaching and oversight to developers. Ensure all digital experiences meet industry standards and best practices. Partner with QA teams to troubleshoot defects and optimize development processes based on learnings. Qualifications: Proven experience in front-end development with strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Expertise in creating responsive and accessible user interfaces. Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI, design, and QA. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to guide teams through complex technical challenges.
