Remote Adjunct Faculty - Pharmacy Tech | WFH

Job Overview Join us as an Adjunct Pharmacy Technician Instructor, where you will have the unique opportunity to significantly influence the educational pathways of aspiring pharmacy technicians. Key Responsibilities • Conduct assigned courses within the Pharmacy Technician program. • Facilitate engaging bi-weekly live sessions via Zoom for each course. • Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate office hours and individual student meetings, ensuring personalized support. • Provide prompt and constructive feedback on assessments, quizzes, and projects, guiding students in their learning journey. • Actively engage with at-risk students to offer mentorship and improve their academic success. • Maintain precise records of student performance, including progress and attendance, and submit final grades in accordance with university policies. • Participate in faculty meetings, training programs, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching methodologies and stay current with industry trends. • Execute other duties as assigned in alignment with faculty responsibilities and university guidelines. Required Skills • Strong written and verbal communication abilities. • Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering effective relationships in both individual and group settings. • Ability to collaborate efficiently within a team environment to achieve departmental objectives. • Proficiency in virtual tools and software such as MS Office, Canvas, Cvue, Gmail, Zoom, and more. Qualifications • An Associate degree in a health-related field is preferred. • PTCB Certification is mandatory. • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on pharmacy technician experience is required; experience with sterile compounding is advantageous. • Previous online teaching experience is preferred but not essential.
