Overview

We are looking for a proficient Project Manager to lead the execution of projects in the architectural millwork sector from inception to completion. This position is exclusively available for candidates residing in Florida. As an integral part of our organization, you will facilitate communication among various departments, ensuring projects remain on schedule, adhere to deadlines, and maintain the highest quality standards. Your collaborative efforts with internal teams will drive operational excellence and uncover opportunities for business enhancement. Key Responsibilities • Serve as a communication bridge between departments, ensuring seamless project alignment. • Propel projects forward, guaranteeing timely completion while meeting quality benchmarks. • Assist the team in addressing Sales Order Maintenance issues within designated timeframes. • Relay potential concerns to senior management to mitigate issues affecting client satisfaction. • Maintain project margins and ensure completion within budgetary constraints. • Collaborate with the project management team to establish and uphold consistent operational processes. • Coordinate with various teams to set accurate mobilization dates for project kick-off. • Oversee change orders to ensure timely financial settlements. • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients and stakeholders, identifying avenues for new business. • Follow prescribed processes and organizational frameworks to enable smooth project execution. • Provide precise forecasts for resource planning and scheduling within the company. Required Skills • Strong leadership capabilities complemented by exceptional interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in interpreting architectural and shop drawings. • Demonstrated experience in manufacturing and woodworking is essential. • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and effectively manage time within a dynamic working environment. • Familiarity with production quality standards (AWI/QCP & LEED) is advantageous. • Hands-on experience within a millwork shop or a comprehensive understanding of woodworking processes is highly desirable. Qualifications • A background in project management within the woodworking industry, managing projects ranging from (500K to )5M+. • A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and/or a relevant college degree is preferred. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are fundamental.
