Location: Zachary, LA Dates: Jan 2025 May 2025 Caseload: • High School | 9th-12th Grade students | Supported by SLPA • Part Time 20 Hours Job Details: • Conducting assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities while working from a remote area. • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders and difficulties. • Providing direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings. • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development and progress. • Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. • Participating in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and providing input regarding students' communication needs. Qualifications: • Louisiana State License to practice Speech and Language Pathology. • Type C- Credential (will take education cred. pending) • Masters in Speech and Language Pathology or Teacher of Speech and Language Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred • Experience working with school-aged children preferred. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals.
