Online Social Studies / History Tutor (Remote)

For over two decades, we have partnered with school districts, higher education institutions, libraries, and organizations nationwide to deliver transformative online tutoring services. Position Overview: Brainfuse is seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our team as Social Studies and History Tutors. You will provide real-time, remote assistance to students at the college level and below, delivering high-quality, interactive sessions to enhance their understanding of various social studies and history subjects. Subjects Include: • Social Studies • AP U.S. History • AP Government and Politics (U.S.) • AP Human Geography • Canadian Social Studies Responsibilities: • Conduct real-time, interactive tutoring sessions in Social Studies and History for college-level students and below. • Assist students in understanding and applying key concepts in Social Studies, AP U.S. History, AP Government and Politics, AP Human Geography, and Canadian Social Studies. • Adapt sessions to address individual learning needs and ensure effective comprehension of historical events, governmental systems, and geographical concepts. • Provide live assistance through our online virtual whiteboard using text, audio, and video. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in History, Social Studies, Education, or a related field; proof of education required. • Proven expertise in Social Studies and History; experience tutoring or teaching these subjects is essential. • Strong knowledge of historical events, governmental systems, and geographical concepts. • Personal computer with a fast and stable internet connection, along with a reliable microphone and webcam for interactive online sessions.
