What You Will Do: • Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate responses to inquiries from members, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and chat. • Assist members with understanding their benefits, coverage, and claims processing, ensuring they have the information necessary to make informed healthcare decisions. • Navigate various computer systems to access and update member information, process claims, and resolve issues efficiently. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex member concerns, striving to achieve first-call resolution whenever possible. • Demonstrate empathy and active listening skills while addressing member concerns and inquiries, fostering positive relationships and trust. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred. • Prior customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or a related field. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong command of English grammar and spelling. • Proficiency in navigating computer systems and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment. • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
