We are looking for current graduate students who are passionate about understanding how consumers think, feel, and act in the insurance and financial services space. The ideal candidate would be a researcher who has experience with quantitative research, qualitative research, or both. This includes the ability to create surveys, analyze quantitative data, and/or employ qualitative methods such as conducting one-on-one interviews and summarizing overall themes. Being able to communicate well and visualize your findings to create impact are also key. Responsibilities • Work with peer researchers to understand research needs and develop/execute research efforts to support those needs. , • Execute new primary quantitative or qualitative research to understand customer needs/expectations and improve the customer experience. , • Perform statistical analyses on various data sets to explain customer behavior (for quantitative researchers). , • Utilize qualitative methods to understand 'the why' behind customer behavior and help build compelling customer stories (for qualitative researchers). , • Communicate complex analyses and insights in a simple and actionable way to business partners; develop creative and immersive ways to help business partners take data from insights to action. , • Collaborate within a fast-paced team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, think outside the box, and constantly focus on developing yourself and your skills. Requirements • Currently enrolled in a MS or PhD degree in a research-related field like Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research, Anthropology, Design Thinking, Economics, or Marketing. , • Experience scoping, designing, and conducting quantitative and qualitative research. , • Experience manipulating and analyzing structured and unstructured data using tools such as R, SPSS, SAS, Python, or Qualtrics. , • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
