Safety, Security & Compliance 05-Dec-2024 Ref #: 26997 LinkedIn Tag How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Intelligence and Risk Mitigation Program Manager is an intelligence and risk mitigation subject-matter expert (SME), providing critical support to Delta’s intelligence-led, security risk mitigation methodology, and driving the development and execution of intelligence and risk mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

Include, But Are Not Limited To • Manage key initiatives to proactively identify and mitigate security risk across the enterprise. • Support the development and execution of intelligence and risk mitigation strategies. • Maintain a current and deep understanding of worldwide threat dynamics and trends, • including those related to terrorism, violent crime, narcotics smuggling, and civil unrest. • Collect and analyze large quantities of information with precision and efficiency. • Write, edit, and disseminate intelligence products to Delta stakeholders including daily threat briefings, crew communications, new station security assessments, security advisories, and special event intelligence support. • Develop, maintain, and drive liaison and engagement efforts with government partners and industry counterparts. • Coordinate with multiple business units on new and existing programs and projects to ensure security risks and mitigation strategies are incorporated into business decisions. • Manage multiple third-party intelligence vendors and information platforms. • Use understanding of worldwide security environment to prioritize, filter, and assess credibility of information and sources. • Develop reports, metrics, and other products to assess, manage, and improve performance of security programs. • Serve as a subject-matter expert (SME) and present analysis and other intelligence products to leadership through written reports, oral briefings, and visual presentations. • Support regulatory requirements associated with military charters. • Collaborate with team members on special reports and ad-hoc intelligence projects. • Coordinate security risk decision making in time-sensitive situations, including those with minimal direction/oversight from leadership. • Immediately respond to high threats, even when outside of normal business hours, and serve as primary responder during rotational on-call duties. • Practice safety- and security-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications) • Ability to obtain US government security clearance is required. • Bachelor’s degree required with relevant professional experience; or in the absence of a college degree, must have at least 3 years’ of directly relevant professional experience. • Strong intelligence analysis and risk assessment/mitigation experience with a natural curiosity and attention to detail. • Exceptional writing skills. • Ability to communicate and present detailed intelligence data through oral and written means to stakeholders, senior leaders, and governmental/law enforcement agencies. • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage competing priorities with minimal supervision, including making challenging judgment calls in the absence of senior leaders. • Demonstrated ability to thrive through challenging analytical work in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines. • Ability to independently develop both internal and external information and peer networks and leverage existing networks. • Familiarity with US government security policy and organizational structure/relationship among federal agencies and relevant state/local law enforcement organizations. • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. • Flexible and adaptable to a fluid and challenging environment. • Ability to follow established procedures and excel under pressure in critical situations. • Work well alone and in a team environment and possess a high degree of self-discipline, initiative, and drive. • Exceptional understanding of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and data analysis tools. • US citizenship required. • Limited domestic and international travel required. • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States. What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred Qualifications) • MA/MS in History, Economics, International Relations, Government, Political Science, • Security Studies or related field, or relevant experience. • Thorough understanding of trends in worldwide security environment, particularly • regarding terrorism/counterterrorism and the aviation industry. • Current US government secret level security clearance. • Familiarity with data collection tools.
