Role and Responsibilities: Develop and implement personalized educational plans tailored to the unique needs of students in the K-12 spectrum, including those with diverse learning requirements. Collaborate closely with fellow educators and educational professionals to create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs). Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to promote academic development across different grade levels. Maintain transparent and constructive communication with parents and guardians, delivering frequent updates on student performance. Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the creation of customized educational strategies. Qualifications and Background: Possession of a valid Washington State License as a Special Education Teacher is a prerequisite. A Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, with the ability to cater to students in elementary, middle, and high school. Comprehensive knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish an inclusive and supportive learning environment. A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and a student-centered approach.
