Responsibilities of Bulk Delivery Driver: • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable • Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience • Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection Physical Requirements of Bulk Delivery Driver: • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required Qualification of Bulk Delivery Driver: • Abide by FMCSA Regulations by Joining the Clearinghouse • Applicants must have attained the age of 21 years or older to be considered • The two most crucial prerequisites for truck driving are to have a valid CDL Class A issued from the driver's state of origin, and to satisfy the mandatory endorsements and DOT requirements • It is mandatory to possess a minimum of six months of commercial driving experience or three months of delivery experience in the food and beverage industry to become eligible for this job • The ability to operate a manual transmission is preferable; it may be mandatory in designated areas • Mastery of the English language is a crucial skill in order to communicate effectively, comprehend highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquisitions, and accurately input data into reports and records.
