Position Overview: As a Virtual Special Education Teacher with VocoVision, you will deliver personalized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. You will use cutting-edge technology to engage students, create inclusive learning experiences, and collaborate with families and other education professionals to support each student's academic and personal growth. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and instructional strategies tailored to students' specific needs. • Provide virtual instruction and support in core subjects, as well as specialized areas as outlined in students' IEPs. • Utilize a variety of digital tools and resources to create engaging and interactive learning experiences. • Monitor and assess students' progress, adjusting instructional methods and materials as needed. • Communicate regularly with students, families, and school staff to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns. • Participate in virtual team meetings, professional development, and collaboration with other educators to enhance instructional practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. • Valid teaching certification in Special Education for the state of Oregon. • Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs and implementing IEPs. • Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms and educational technology. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and manage a virtual classroom effectively. • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
