Key Responsibilities • Deliver captivating and interactive virtual science lessons that align with Indiana state standards for grades 6-8 while mentoring students in grades 6-12. • Create and execute comprehensive lesson plans, assessments, and virtual lab activities utilizing diverse digital tools. • Maintain consistent communication with students and their families to provide support and guidance that promotes academic achievement in a remote setting. • Use online platforms effectively to monitor student progress, attendance, and engagement. • Attend virtual faculty meetings and professional development sessions, working collaboratively with the leadership team. • Teach hands-on STEM courses for middle school students, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Design and implement a dynamic STEM curriculum that incorporates project-based learning and engineering practices. • Cultivate a collaborative, inquiry-driven learning atmosphere that inspires students to tackle real-world challenges and understand technology applications. • Organize and lead STEM-related projects, activities, and clubs to enhance student engagement. • Participate in onsite faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
