Bookkeeper (Part-time/Remote but must be in Phoenix Metro)
Position Summary: Kaizen Builders is seeking an experienced bookkeeper with 3-5 years of experience, particularly someone proficient in QuickBooks. Responsibilities: Manage all accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records. Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis. Track expenses, invoices, and other financial transactions. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Maintain detailed records of all transactions and update financial data in QuickBooks. Assist in preparing and filing tax documents. Handle general ledger entries and maintain a comprehensive filing system. Collaborate with project managers and other staff to track project budgets. Perform month-end and year-end closings. Conduct regular financial audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
