Duties - Operate forklifts, including lift trucks, clamp trucks, order pickers, and reach trucks, to move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse. - Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage. - Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking product movement and maintaining organized storage areas. - Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. - Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance or repair needs. - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating heavy equipment in compliance with company policies. Requirements - Proven experience in heavy equipment operation within a warehouse setting is preferred. - Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, as well as warehouse management practices. - Ability to operate various types of forklifts, including but not limited to lift trucks, clamp trucks, order pickers, and reach trucks. - Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records of inventory movement. - Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors. - A commitment to safety practices in the workplace, including passing any required safety training or certifications.
