Job Description
As a Data Entry Specialist at FedEx, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate data in our systems. This is a remote position that allows you to work from the comfort of your home, providing an ideal work-life balance. You will need to have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace. Candidates must possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar. Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred. Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.). Basic understanding of databases. Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills. Great attention to detail. Responsibilities Insert customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits. Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry. Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check the output. Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents. Apply data program techniques and procedures. Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations. Keep information confidential.
