Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional instruction and support to students with visual impairments within a virtual framework. Create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student. Collaborate effectively with fellow educators, parents, and school personnel to foster a unified educational strategy for each student. Leverage a variety of assistive technologies and resources to enhance the educational experience. Monitor and evaluate student progress, offering constructive feedback and making necessary adjustments to their learning plans. Required Skills Expertise in educational strategies tailored for students with visual impairments. Proficiency in assistive technologies and educational resources. Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting. Problem-solving skills and adaptability to diverse educational needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field. Valid Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Teaching the Visually Impaired. A minimum of two years of experience in educational environments. Exceptional communication skills, particularly in a remote work context.
