Healthcare Accounting Specialist - Month-End Close Expert

Description We are looking for experienced accountants with a passion for healthcare to join our team in support of a major healthcare system. This role involves participating in dynamic teams focused on month-end close processes and engaging in various exciting projects, all while enjoying the flexibility of remote work... Key Responsibilities • Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile balance sheets, and generate reports. • Work extensively with Excel to analyze and manage data. • Collaborate on ad hoc projects as needed to support the team during a period of transition. Technology • Currently operating on Oracle, with a planned transition to Workday in 2025. Qualifications • 2-5 years of accounting experience, with a solid understanding of journal entries, reconciliation, and general ledger processes. • Experience working with Oracle is required; familiarity with Workday is a plus. • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Healthcare industry experience is a plus, though not required.
