CDL Class A Driver (Flexible Hours)

Job Summary:

Job Description:

As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to our customers. You will be tasked with driving and operating trucks, maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring timely delivery, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate has a valid CDL Class A driver’s license, a clean driving record, and is committed to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials.

2. Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights, and turning signals, brakes, and cold storage.

3. Ensure that all documentation and paperwork are completed accurately and on-time.

4. Ensure that all deliveries are completed on time and accurately.

5. Maintain professionalism and a strong customer service orientation.

6. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

1. Valid CDL Class A driver’s license.

2. Clean driving record.

3. Ability to pass a drug and physical test.

4. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

5. Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.

6. Strong communication skills.

7. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Educational Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required. Advanced education and certifications are a plus.

Experience:

Previous experience as a CDL Class A driver is preferred but not required. New drivers are encouraged to apply!
