Job Summary:

We at J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. are seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL Class A Truck Driver for regional routes across the United States. You will be responsible for safely operating a heavy commercial truck, ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers, and reporting any vehicle maintenance issues. Job Description:

As a CDL Class A Truck Driver, your primary responsibility will be to ensure safe and timely delivery of goods and cargo. You will be required to follow all applicable traffic laws, maintain a clean driving record, and perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip. Additionally, you’ll be expected to load and unload cargo, ensure that all documentation like invoices and delivery forms are completed accurately, and report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs immediately.

Responsibilities:

– Safe operation of a commercial vehicle.

– Timely delivery of goods and cargo.

– Performing routine vehicle inspections before and after each trip.

– Loading and unloading cargo.

– Accurate completion of delivery forms and invoices.

– Reporting vehicle maintenance and repair needs.

Requirements:

– Valid CDL Class A driver’s license.

– Clean driving record.

– Proven work experience as a truck driver.

– Ability to drive for extended periods.

– Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in the region.

– Ability to lift heavy objects.

Educational Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional training from a vocational school or truck driving school will be a plus.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of professional truck driving experience is required.
