### Job Description
As a Flight Attendant at Southwest Airlines, you will be at the forefront of our customer service operations, ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our passengers. You will represent our brand and values, providing a warm, friendly, and enthusiastic service experience on each flight.
### Responsibilities
– Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers aboard the flights.
– Conduct pre-flight cabin checks and monitor cabin during the flight.
– Deliver announcements and instructions clearly to passengers.
– Serve beverages, meals, and snacks.
– Manage emergency situations and administer first aid as required.
– Provide friendly, professional service that aligns with Southwest Airlines reputation for customer care.
### Requirements
– Minimum age of 20 years.
– High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
– Ability to pass a rigorous background check and pre-employment drug screening.
– Physical ability to perform job duties, including reaching overhead, fitting in an aircraft’s jump seat, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
– Professional appearance and adherence to the airlines grooming standards.
– Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
– Willingness to operate on a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overnight flights.
### Educational Qualifications
– High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
– Further certifications in hospitality or customer service are a plus but not required.
### Experience
– No prior experience as a Flight Attendant is required as comprehensive paid training will be provided.
– Experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field is advantageous.
