Sodexo Group, a global leader in Quality of Life services, is looking to hire an energetic, detail-oriented Catering Associate to join our team part-time. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of duties including planning, prepping, setting up, serving, and breaking down catering events in a variety of locations.

Job Description:

As a Catering Associate, you will be responsible for helping to present and serve food and beverages in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. You will also be asked to assist in setting up and breaking down the catering area, as well as performing other related duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Responsibilities:

– Assist in the preparation, set up, and service of catering events

– Deliver food and beverages to catered events

– Clean and sanitize serving and dining areas, utensils, and equipment

– Report any equipment malfunctioning, shortages, or other operational issues to your supervisor

– Assist in the inventory of catering supplies

Requirements:

– High school diploma or equivalent

– Minimum of one year of experience in food service or catering preferred

– Excellent customer service skills

– Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds

– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

– Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
