Job Description

As a Call Center Specialist at GDIT, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your primary role will be to provide exceptional customer service and resolve inquiries efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a high level of professionalism is crucial to our success.

Key Responsibilities

– Handle inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner

– Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions

– Maintain records of interactions with customers in our CRM system

– Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department

– Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics

– Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets

Requirements

– High School Diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus

– Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative

– Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening

– Familiarity with CRM systems and practices

– Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types

– Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively
