Planet Fitness, a leader in the fitness industry, is seeking a part-time Fitness Trainer for our Safford branch. The selected candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate, health and dental benefits, paid training, and paid vacations.
Job Description:
As a Fitness Trainer at Planet Fitness, you will be integral in creating a positive health and wellness experience for our members. You will be responsible for leading group fitness classes, developing individualized workout plans, and providing guidance and support to members in their fitness journey. This role requires a strong commitment to the health and wellness of our members and a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct fitness consultations and assessments
– Develop and demonstrate individual and group fitness programs
– Provide fitness education and advice to gym members
– Monitor and instruct clients during personal training and group fitness sessions
– Ensure the safety of all gym members
– Maintain fitness equipment and ensure cleanliness of the gym
– Participate in promotional and marketing activities
Requirements:
– Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) or related fitness certification
– CPR and First Aid Certification
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Passionate about fitness and health
– Ability to motivate and inspire clients
– Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Educational Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field is a plus
Experience:
Previous experience working as a Fitness Trainer or similar role is preferred but not mandatory. We value a passion for fitness and a commitment to our members above all else.
