Job Summary:

Allied Universal Security Services, a leading provider of facility services in the United States, is looking for a dedicated and reliable Part-Time Security Officer for our Santa Clarita location. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of our clients and their assets while delivering excellent customer service. This is a part-time position, requiring less than 4 hours daily, offering a competitive salary of $18 – $22 per hour, along with benefits such as health, dental, paid training, and paid vacations.

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting our clients’ premises, assets, personnel, and visitors. This position requires vigilance, quick thinking, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. You will be expected to consistently maintain a high level of professionalism while enforcing client procedures and regulations.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

– Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, ensuring the security of doors, windows, and gates

– Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms, responding appropriately to any irregularities

– Investigate disturbances and act lawfully in direct defense of life and property

– Maintain daily activity reports and incident reports

– Assist visitors and staff in emergency situations

– Adhere to company policies and maintain a high level of confidentiality

Education & Experience:

– High School Diploma or equivalent required

– Previous security experience preferred, but not required

– Knowledge of security operations and safety practices

– Must have a valid Security Guard License
