Job Description
As a Certified Flight Instructor at SkyHigh Aviation Academy, you will play a crucial role in molding the next generation of pilots. Your primary duty will be delivering engaging and effective training sessions both in classroom environments and in the air. You will assess student progress, customize instruction to individual learner needs, and maintain training records in accordance with FAA regulations.

Responsibilities
– Conduct flight and ground instruction in accordance with FAA approved curriculum.
– Ensure that course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by all assigned students.
– Accurately maintain all appropriate records and recertify annually to maintain instructor ratings.
– Provide mentorship and motivational support to students.
– Stay updated on the latest teaching tools and pilot training techniques.
– Manage scheduling of lessons in coordination with student availability and aircraft resource planning.

Requirements
– Valid FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate.
– Minimum of 500 hours of instruction given.
– Current FAA Class 1 medical certificate.
– Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
– Ability to tailor lessons to meet different learning styles.
– Strong organizational skills and meticulous record keeping.
– Exceptional situational awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
