JOB SUMMARY

UPS, a globally recognized logistics company, is seeking a reliable, physical fit, and customer-service oriented person to join our team as a full-time Package Delivery Driver in Texas. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25.00 – $31.50, health and dental benefits, paid training and vacation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a UPS Package Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages to businesses and homes on assigned routes. You will represent the UPS brand through exemplary customer service and professional attire. This role is physically demanding as you will load, unload and handle packages of varying sizes and weights. You must ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining safety as a top priority.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Deliver packages to homes and businesses on assigned routes.

2. Load and unload packages into delivery vehicles.

3. Maintain accurate records of deliveries.

4. Follow safety and company protocols.

5. Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

2. Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 pounds.

3. Strong customer service skills.

4. Comfortable driving for long periods of time in varying weather conditions.

5. Ability to pass a drug test and a criminal background check.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

EXPERIENCE

Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus, but not required.
